A Strategy for The Media

Nottingham is the Media Capital of the East Midlands region being home of:

The Nottingham Strategy Group was established in1993 to assist the development of new and existing media related businesses. The group is representatative of the industry, training and education providers and the public sector.

A Stategy document was published in 1994. The aim of the strategy is to facilitate:

  • the promotion of Nottingham's media assets
  • the stenghthening of linkages between the media sector, tourism and inward investment
  • the implementation of a regional training strategy
  • the introduction of the wider business community to the benefits of using media
