| Description: | When you visit our World of International Aviation, you will discover one of the finest displays of rare British, American and European aircraft in the British Isles.
Whenever you visit, weather need not be a worry as nearly half our collection of forty aircraft are undercover in our Aircraft Display Hall. Here you can explore our diverse assortment of helicopter, jets and piston engined aircraft. On many days throughout the year you can venture even further into our special world, by inspecting some aircraft from the inside. For a small additional fee you can look around a "Berlin Airlift Veteran" the Hastings, our "Maritime Patroller" the Shackleton and the "Mighty Cold War Warrior" the Vulcan. From transporting cargo, reconnaissance sorties and training young pilots, to bombing missions and fighter combat sweeps, every one of the exhibits has a story to tell. Inside our Engine Display Hall you can look at thirty restorated aero engines. With sufficient time you can browse for hours around the fabulous collection of models, artefacts, equipment and memorabilia in our Exhibition Hall. |
