Introduction

The Nottingham Brussels Office acts on behalf of its partners to provide three basic services:

Firstly, early warning of EU legislation, programmes and funding opportunities.

Secondly, to lobby EU institutions and represent partners' interests.

Thirdly, to provide business support to local small and medium-sized companies.

• Advice on European policy, legislation, standards, certification
• Advance warning of new European funding programmes, EC contracts
• Support to companies while visiting Brussels
• Access to export advice through the British Embasy in Brussels
