FACILITIES AVAILABLE

We have 11 Pentium PC computers available, many of which are equipped with a full range of office and desktop publishing software, graphics programmes, image and text scanners and web authoring tools. Monochrome laser and A4/A3 colour 'inkjet' printing facilities are available. We have a range of print media available from laser copy and coated paper through transparencies and address labels to high-quality photographic papers, CD labels and jewel-case inserts.

CODA affiliates (our name for our users) may also use the Internet at-cost and have e-mail accounts free of charge.

We also have a private sound studio comprising sampling and sequencing software, sample editing, sound modules, digital effects processing, mixing desk, analogue and digital recording and a sizeable sample library.

Our multimedia studio network has facilities for creating 2- and 3-d graphics and animation, and sound sampling and editing tools. We also have video digitising and editing equipment and professional multimedia authoring tools. Finally, we have a CD recording facility and film negative and transparency scanning.

Affiliates can reserve time on the machine most suitable for their work via a booking system.


Access and use of CODA resources by affiliates is completely free of charge. Affiliated users only pay cost price for consumable items such as Internet access, floppy and zip disks, printouts, print media, CD's etc.
